It's the 1st of May. The vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian experience is over. We have had some very positive experiences during the process. In fact, we were thrilled that we lost weight. However, the weather has been fickle and the outdoors has not been cooperative for my Spring Training. In addition, I gained some weight as I indulged on dairy and sweet treats as though the great famine was around the corner. I need to get these unwanted pounds off - Spring weather won't let me get out and have my runs.
While I was away at the conference, I went to the hotel's gym every morning at 5:00 am. I would spend an hour mixing it up with various exercises - the stationary bike, the treadmill, leg press or hit the weights.

The King and I went to a Monster Cycle Class in the city. It's not our first time, we have cycled at various cycle spots. Forty-five minutes of music pumping, cycling to the rhythms, challenging our legs and getting while getting our cardio workout. Following the instructors moves and sweating up a storm all with fantastic dim lights.

| The Woods |
The weather is getting better. It's warm, sunny and dry. No wind, nor rain will stop me now. I love the woods. Running in the woods is completely refreshing. I enjoy nature. I hear the birds chirping, see the butterflies fluttering around, turtles sitting idly by the path, rabbits hopping along, the deer staring - it's a one with God and Nature run. It's very busy in the woods, college students track or sports teams are often running through, cyclists riding along, families walking their dogs, individual runners whizzing by, friends and couples and then there's me snailing along. Slow and steady, moving forward and finding myself further and further into the woods, following the paths - taking detours and exploring the depths of the nature trail.
Today as I completed my run - my fitbit logged in at 8.5 miles. I feel so accomplished. Snailed it!!!
