Homemade Spring Butternut Squash Soup

It's Spring. It's still brisk, chilly, windy -- was sort of rainy earlier and an overall raw day. What else could we have for dinner? Butternut Squash soup with Pillsbury biscuits. There was washing, peeling, chopping, pulling out the pots and pans and loving the process of preparing the meal de resistance of the day.

Sine we're not vegetarian for fancy's sake, we're trying to improve our health and wellness by shaking up our diets and making some well needed changes to our dietary consumption. Keeping that in mind, choosing the meals also comes with making some thoughtful selections that offers some benefits to our health. Guess what? Well, did you know that butternut squash  aids in weight loss, reduces inflammation and keeps our bones healthy? It also strengthens our immune system,  improves physical performance and reduces fatigue - pass the bowls please.

Dinner was cooked and ready within 45 minutes. This homemade soup soothed our bodies and warmed our souls - delicious dinner.
