| Vegan Pizza |
We are a pizza loving family and finding this vegan pizza in Whole Foods was fantastic. Daiya is a vegan brand that sells a variety of vegan foods. Their food products are dairy, gluten and soy free. Our pre-vegan journey life would include a pizza delivery at least once a week. In fact, we have a pizza bake off in the works which will take place some time later this summer. The challenge is for my King and I to make a pizza from scratch (homemade). Our daughter Ashley brought us a lovely ceramic pizza pie and slice set a few years ago which we use when we make home made pizza. While we were suspicious of the whole idea of vegan pizza with vegan cheese, we were also excited to try the pizza, especially since we thought that we would not have pizza again until the Lenten season was over. We even had a discussion where I said that we should stick to vegetables. However, as with everything, there has been an evolution. I am open to experiencing the vegan life and all the various products that they offer. Ally asked about trying the vegan burgers - I am not quite ready. I think I will need some more time to consider it.

| Vegetable and Cheeze Pizza |
Following the instructions, I preheated the oven to 475 degrees and then placed the pizzas in the oven for 15 minutes. In no time we were ready to eat. Interestingly, my King preferred the vegetable pizza over the cheese pizza. Ally thought that they were both pretty good. I also had a preference for the vegetable pizza. I often order a vegetable pizza whenever we order pizza (1 plain, 1 with peperoni or sausage, 1 vegetable). My King gives the vegetable pizza 3 1/2 stars and the cheese pizza 1 star. Ally gives the vegetable pizza 4 stars and the cheese pizza 3 stars. I really think it takes some getting used to. Will we try it again? Of course we would.
