Braving Blizzard Breakfast (Vegan Version)



 It's another blizzard day on the East Coast. We're all in today. It's a fend for yourself kind of morning. In our non vegan life, when the kids were old enough, we have had 'Fend for yourself Fridays' which means make a sandwich, a bowl of cereal, or whatever you want - I'm not cooking today. Today I tried the tea with Soy Milk (Vanilla). Unfortunately, there was a sweetness overload as I added sugar not realizing that the vanilla flavor would add to the flavor of the tea. However, I added some more water to my tea. A few sips later, I was able to get the hang of it as I enjoyed my slice of whole wheat bread and avocado slices. Can you say deeeelicious?!!! 

My King prepared a bowl of Quaker Oats Oatmeal. He boiled the water, poured in the oats, added brown sugar, cinnamon raisins along with sliced and diced bananas. We oooohed and aaaahed as we ate our individual meals.

Ally who was up and about earlier, had Naan with a cup of chai tea with almond milk.
